Family Stories was founded in 2000 by Elayne Lockhart, a professional genealogist and family historian. She has 18 years of genealogy and family history research experience, and is experienced in the records of Ontario, other parts of Canada, Ireland, Scotland and England. She has conducted on-site research overseas as well as in Canada.
Elayne has a M. Ed. in Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto, and retired early from her faculty (counselling) position in a local College to focus on her genealogical research service.
